On April 12th 2013 a solemn ceremony of awarding of winners of the contest “The Best Businessman – 2012” was held in reception hall in the Palace of the Republic.

The Deputy Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Minsk Region Alexandr Turchin presented the honorary diplomas to the heads of the 39 leading enterprises of the Region, who became winners of the contest in 16 categories.

The Belarusian-Italian joint-venture company “BetonBox” with limited liability – a company member of Group of Companies of “Unibox” has won in the category “The Best Businessman – organizer of workplaces”.

JV “BetonBox” Ltd was founded in 2010 for the realization of a large-scale project of reconstruction of the Kopyl plant of reinforced concrete goods, which had been unprofitable since 2000 and in 2009 it ceased to work at all.

Today the enterprise is reconstructed, there started the production of about of 80 different items of the reinforced concrete goods of prestressed concrete according to the Italian technology, used mainly for agricultural constructions.

As the director of the plant, Vladimir Vorobiev, has reported in 2012 the JV “BetonBox” Ltd created about 200 new workplaces. Currently, the number of the enterprise employees is 247 persons.

The project of reconstruction of the former plant of the concrete products plant is planned to be completed in December 2014. In the long term there will be mastered the production of a wide range of reinforced concrete structures for construction of storehouses and logistics centers, vegetable and grain stores, residential buildings, and, consequently, there will be created additional jobs in the Kopyl area.
