In the past two years CJSC «Bogoduhovskoe» (Pavlograd district of Omsk region of the Russian Federation) has left far behind the rest of the district livestock enterprises in terms of milk yield per forage cow. For this success the farm is obliged to the upgrade of all the production facilities, the transition of cows in loose housing, the adequate organization of animal feeding. This succeeded considerably in increase of the cattle productivity.

However, the management of the CJSC «Bogoduhovsky» doesn’t rest on their laurels as the dairy producers make ever greater demands on the quality of milk. Therefore, it was decided to purchase new milking equipment that meets all modern requirements.

After careful examination of the proposals of the Russian and foreign manufacturers of milking equipment, «Bogoduhovsky» preferred milking parlor «Parallel Swingover» from «Unibox».

«The cost of the equipment amounts to 10 million rubles, and including the installation and start-up and adjustment works it cost 15 million rubles to the company, – said the executive director of the CJSC «Bogoduhovsky» Victor Danilovich Buts. – But these are quite reasonable costs that we face knowing that at the end we’ll get the quality and therefore a higher added value to the milk that we deliver. Especially, because we are not going to stop at one parlor. For all our livestock population we need at least two more parlors. Let’s see how the present one will work and then we’ll make a decision. Our experts visited Belarus, underwent a training on a similar equipment and assured themselves of the reasonability of its use in our environment».

Experts of the Group of companies «Unibox» went to Russia to carry out the assembly and start-up and adjustment work of the new milking parlor as well as to train the stuff of the farm to operate the equipment.

At the beginning of September the farm was visited by the head of the Pavlograd district A.N.Kaplya and the head of the agricultural department of the district N.A.Shklovchik to personally access the benefits to be obtained with the commission of the new milking equipment.

Today the milking parlor «Unibox» has already been set in operation in the CJSC «Bogoduhovsky», the farm has received the first milk of the new technology.
