MILKING UNITS

Milking unit of UNIBOX is a special combination of collector, cartridges and super soft teat rubber. It is made of high quality robust materials that increase its resistance and sanitation. Milk flow is well observed through transparent collector cup.

Scientific research confirmed that our milking systems increase milk gain with this special collector, teat rubber and pulsation line.
Milking unit of UNIBOX follows DairyMaster technology and is made of robust impact-resistant materials that increase its durability and sanitation. Milk flow is well observed through transparent collector cup.
Our milking unit is a result of aged scientific researches and tests purposed to develop the technology providing maximum comfort and quick milking process. Consider that the scientists of our partner, the Company of DairyMaster, for 30(!) years every day have measured the pressure on the teat end of the cow in order to design maximum efficient milking unit. Many tests were performed starting from X-ray analysis of interaction of teats and liner and at the end developing an artificial udder to examine milk flow.

Pulsation system
Pulsation system different from the conventional coupled one (2x2) in milking units of UNIBOX applies simultaneous pulsation principle (4x0) where all four teats are milked at once. The system provides larger portion of milk to enter into the collector at each step of milking.
Vacuum at the teat end is significantly altered subject to milking stage. In case of normal milk flow it is equal to 42-48 kPa in the milking phase and 24-26 kPa in the resting phase. Floating vacuum level provides higher efficiency of milking units with simultaneous pulsation on the one hand, and proper rest for a teat at rest stage on the other hand, which makes the milking units less traumatic for animals as cross forces acting on teats are minimum.
For comparison; in conventional systems with pair pulsation at milking stage vacuum is NMT 38-40 kPa, and at rest stage 36 kPa, i.e. the difference is very slight as there is a necessity to match milking of two quarters of udder and rest for the other two quarters that provokes higher stress of teats.
Spare mode of milking under constant vacuum supply in 4x0 systems of milking renders possible to use the milking unit in full, stress-free milking of a cow, elimination of irritation of udder and animal diseases.

Prevention of liner slips
Traditional fear of vacuum drop (high level in the milking phase and low vacuum in the resting phase) were caused by the fact that such vacuum drops can lead to slips of the milking unit.
It could have happened to all conventional milking systems but OURS! We apply liner made of special patented super elastic polymer of rare feature to hold on cow udder.

The advantage of milking unit made by UNIBOX (DairyMaster technology) with simultaneous pulsation
• Speeder milking (on average per min) due to higher vacuum level in the milking phase;
• Fuller milking (on average 4x0 system provides 5% gain of milk against 2x2 system);
• Less traumatic and more saving impact on animals.
